Join Worcester DSA’s reading group to discuss the key theoretical and practical takeaways from Mutual Aid: Building Solidarity During This Crisis (and the Next) by Dean Spade. We will also discuss strategies for talking about these concepts with friends and whether — or to what extent — we should incorporate these principles into our work as socialists.

This reading group will meet on Zoom for 2 sessions:

• Session 1: Thursday, October 27, 6:30-8pm to discuss the introduction and Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4 (pages 1-64)

• Session 2: Thursday, November 10, 6:30-8pm to discuss Chapter 5 and the conclusion (pages 65-148).
