Labor 101 - Session 1: Why the working class?

RSVP for the Zoom link

Join DSA’s Growth and Development Committee and National Labor Commission for a comprehensive five-week course on Labor 101 to kickstart and deepen labor work across DSA chapters. This training series is aimed at members in chapters with either leadership roles in their labor formations (working groups, committees, branches, etc) or those looking to get work started. Learn from experienced organizers and case studies of chapters successfully running rank-and-file pipelines, strike support, EWOC coordination, and more!

Labor is on the rise with new organizing campaigns across Starbucks, Amazon, and now Trader Joe's; major victories for union reform and democracy within the Teamsters and UAW; and a rising tide of union approval and interest from the general public, especially young people eager to learn how to join the labor movement. Check out this event to learn more about how socialists in DSA can be best positioned to both support and join these struggles.
